Hi, This is Steven “Ringer” Wilcox from PArkhill.
Today i teamed up with my Dad for an Adult/Youth tourney in London , there were 28 Doubles teams there to play, we played round robins for the first section, and we placed second, top two doubles moved on, so we were happy with that. in the next round they had a format we have never played before, it was kinda strange really, top Six doubles played off all at once in One game of 701, top three moved on there to play off for 1st, 2nd and third…. weird but ok..
So I won the bull, and we started, dad ended up taking out the 97 left with T19 Tops, so we finished First in that round.
Then we had the top three play off, we finished 2nd there over all with me taking X8 out for the game.
im very happy with the way i played today, while warming up with dad, i had 180 left, hit the first two T20 dead center, went to throw a Single 20, ended up hitting the T20, DARN, Busted 180 With a 180…lol, good shot anyways.
I shot many 140;s today so the targets were hitting well.
Im warming up this week to defend my singles Legion title this coming weekend, we play in Windosr ontario, My partner for doubles at darts ontario is part of my 4 person team, and also two others i play with weekly, We have a great team this year, This is District legion darts, if we advance from here we will be in Berlington in may for Legion Provincials, which will be cool because for the past four years i have played Legions, I have played in all the provincial championships, we traveled to Sudbury first year, Rodney the second, Belleville the third and now hoping to be in berlington.
Anyways, this is my update for this week, lots of darts thrown and lots of Fun had,
